About C.Ruth
C.Ruth born with given names Junior Verem Charles (J.V.C) was born in Kaduna, Nigeria to Joseph Aondo and Ruth Hembadoon Aondo. Attended El-Amin International Boarding high school where he was well into the arts and cultural societies. After graduation, he moved to Atlantic Canada at 16 years of age, and after completing his 3rd degree, rediscovered his love for music in the winter of 2019. Since rediscovery, C.Ruth focuses on original cadences drawing influences from Hip-Hop, rap, rnb, Afro and African Jazz & blues genres. He lists artists such as
Ali Farka Toure, Bob Marley ,Oumou Sangaré, Brenda Fassie, Kendrick Lamar, J.cole, Sarkodie, Skepta, JME, Knucks, Wurld, Charles Bradley, Fela Kuti , Davido
as his inspiration for music.

Ruths Immigration Funds Festivals, RIF is an event that showcases various live artistic events such as paintings, live bidding, live music, and traditional dance performances.
Entry is by donation and funds generated from RIF Festivals are used to buy groceries to give back to the community for free.
